Do you charge extra to come down to Chula Vista?
No. There's no travel fee anywhere in San Diego County, and that covers the whole South Bay — Bonita, Rancho del Rey, Eastlake, Otay Ranch and Millenia. Your estimate is the installed price.
Is ceramic worth it out in Eastlake and Otay Ranch?
That's exactly where it pays for itself. East Chula Vista sits far enough from the coast that it runs hotter than the beach cities all summer, and most of those neighborhoods park on a driveway rather than in shade. Ceramic rejects far more heat than carbon at the same darkness, so the cabin drops faster and the A/C stops fighting the glass. If the car lives outside, it's the upgrade worth taking.
How dark can I legally go in California?
Front side windows have to let more than 70% of light through, so any film there has to be very light. Your windshield can only take a strip across the top down to the AS-1 line. Rear side windows and the back window can be as dark as you want, as long as you have both side mirrors. We'll confirm what's legal for your specific vehicle before we cut anything.
Can you do it at my apartment or condo complex?
Yes — we do apartment garages and covered lots all the time. Just check that your building allows work on site, and grab a spot where we can open the doors fully.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and color change. Our ceramic and super ceramic films carry it for as long as you own the vehicle; carbon is covered for 5 years. It's backed by the film manufacturer and honored by us.
